'Slumdog Millionaire' composer: 'M.I.A. wants to play Oscars'
AR Rahman, who composed the soundtrack to 'Slumdog Millionaire', has said that MIA has been thinking up innovative ways to be able to perform at the Oscars ceremony in Hollywood on February 22 - despite having recently given birth.
The composer of the hit film, which features MIA's song 'Paper Planes', told BBC News that she wanted to play at the ceremony - just weeks after she performed live heavily pregnant at the Grammy awards, on February 8 on Los Angeles.

When MIA met Katy Perry
A very street chic and pregnant MIA got cozy with pretty in pink Katy Perry on the Grammys red carpet.The British rapper performed at the ceremony in Los Angeles Sunday despite the fact she is nine months pregnant.
Queen Latifah introduced the group as the “Rap Pack,” and the crowd stood up as all five were revealed for their extraordinary performance of “Swagga Like Us.”
Chris Brown Assaulted Rihanna!???!!!!
Chris Brown is being investigated by the LAPD for an alleged assault on a female.
“The identity of the victim will not be released,” Officer April Harding tells People. “Any victim who’s involved in a domestic violence incident is entitled to confidentiality.”
Around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, Chris and an unnamed woman were arguing inside of a vehicle when suddenly things turned violent. According to TMZ, the woman suffered visible injuries and identified Chris as her attacker.
Earlier Saturday night, Chris and girlfriend Rihanna were at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy Gala in Beverly Hills. Rihanna’s rep says, “Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support.”
On Sunday afternoon, both Chris and Rihanna were supposed to hit the red carpet and perform at the Grammys. Both will not be in attendance tonight. A Grammy rep says Rihanna’s face is slightly bruised and adds, “We have just been informed that Rihanna will not be attending tonight’s 51st Annual Grammy Awards. We’re sorry she is unable to join us this evening.”

The nominees for the 22nd Annual Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards have been announced, and Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers and vampire epic Twilightare all up for major consideration, E! Online reports.The 16-year-old Hannah Montana star leads the pack, with three individual nods for Favorite Voice (in the animated feature Bolt), Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Television Actress (for Hannah Montana). In addition, Hannah Montana and Bolt are up for Favorite TV Show and Favorite Animated Movie.
The Favorite Movie award will be a three-way battle between The Dark Knight, High School Musical 3: Senior Year and Iron Man. On the musical front, virginal power trio the Jonas Brothers are vying for the Favorite Music Group against Daughtry, Linkin Park and Pussycat Dolls.
Big-screen contenders include Jim Carrey, George Lopez, Adam Sandler and Will Smith—who are all up for the Favorite Movie Actor award—and Jennifer Aniston, Anne Hathaway, Vanessa Hudgens and Reese Witherspoon, who are competing for Favorite Female Movie Star honors.
The Favorite Book Award will be a battle of supernatural forces, as the Twilight and Harry Potter series duke it out for young America's approval.

Oh No! The Killers At War....
The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers is feuding with his bandmate Ronnie Vannucci.
Tensions between the pair have become so strained 27-year-old frontman Brandon is considering attacking Ronnie midway through a concert.
Police singer Sting infamously had an explosive relationship between his drummer Stewart Copeland - which resulted in Sting being hospitalised for a broken rib after a fight during a 1983 US tour.
He said: "I felt our unit was strong. But every now and then I do have a Sting fantasy where I want to jump over the drums."
When asked why he has taken a dislike to his bandmate, Brandon said: "Why would I want to do that? It's something only I and our drummer can know."

Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift comfirmed on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning, that they will be doing a duet together. Taylor also talked about the song they will be singing called “Fifteen”, (which is on her Fearless album),saying ”Well, it’s a song I wrote about freshman year of high school. It was the last year of my life I thought I knew everything,” she explained. “I had my first boyfriend when I was 15. I’m glad I was able to put it into words.”

Brandon Flowers Hates Beards ?!?
Brandon Flowers has a phobia of bearded men.
The Killers frontman - who sported a moustache until recently - has always had a fear of being molested by people with facial hair.
The 'Human' singer also admits to having another unusual phobia - of the number 621
He said: "I have no idea where the fear came from. Maybe from thinking they were trying to hide themselves.
"When I was six or seven years old, if I saw a man with a beard I'd cling to my mother. I was just convinced they were going to take me away."
He added: "I don't think about it that much. I try to make sure I'm not flying on my birthday and I make sure every flight that I'm on doesn't have the number 621.
"I don't stay in that room number in hotels, that kind of thing."
