Cheryl Cole and Victoria Beckham have a couple of things in common.
For one, they both shot to fame by being members of successful British girl groups; Beckham, 34, with '90s pop phenomenon the Spice Girls, and Cole, 25, with current sultry hit-makers Girls Aloud, who to date have scored 19 Top 10 hits in their home country (including four #1s).
And while fashion staple Posh is married to international soccer star David Beckham, Cheryl has been hitched to 28-year-old Chelsea, England, player Ashley Cole for two-and-a-half years.
But despite the two "footballers wives" once sharing a friendship, Cole has lashed out at her former pal.
Mainly, she tells the current issue of U.K. Vogue she was disappointed that Victoria wasn't there for her when reports of Ashley Cole's infidelity hit the press.
"She [Victoria] was in my hotel room during the World Cup—we've had barbecues together—so I was quite shocked by that," shrieks Cheryl, according to the Daily Mail. "I mean, David's mum is friends with Ashley's mum."
The Mail notes that Cheryl and Vicki distanced themselves from the other wives of Britain's ballplayers, once labeling the collective soccer wives as "bad as benefit scroungers, just a higher class of sponger."
