The 39-year-old Top Chef hostess, who’s expecting a baby next year but hasn’t revealed the father yet, opened up about being recognized, going easier on her body during her pregnancy and refusing only to eat low-cal foods. On being recognized: "I went to a bar mitzvah on the Upper East Side last year, and not to toot my own horn, but I might as well have been Michael Jackson to these 13-year-old boys and girls. There were something like 30 children around me, and they were all practically hyperventilating. I had this swarm of little kids going, 'Oh, my god! Oh, my god!' Kids are so authentic, so pure, and they'd be telling me, 'My sister and I had an amuse-bouche contest, and we need you to tell us who should have won.' I think that's really cool." On going easier on her body during pregnancy: "One of the reasons I think I've gained weight pretty quickly during my pregnancy is that I'm not exercising as much as I do normally…I can't. I'm feeling tired, and I have this business to run. You hope that with age, what you pay for in gravity, you gain in gravitas. I'm sure my thighs looked better when I was 25, but I think my mind is better today." The 24-year-old actress has been getting a lot of Oscar buzz for her role in UITA and exclusively had this to share with JustJared.com literally up in the air during a flight from NY to LA: JJ: What was it like working with George Clooney? Did he pull any pranks on set? AK: No - I think George understood that I was 23 and from Maine and never been involved in something this big and he went really easy on me. I think, you know, when you’re Matt Damon and Brad Pitt, you can handle being pranked. I think he knew I would’ve broken down crying and embarrassed myself! JJ: What was your favorite prop from the set? AK: Good question! I liked my computer. I got to be very mean to my computer - it was very serious typing. (During one scene, she bangs on the keyboard with her fingers.) JJ: If you had a romantic storyline in another movie, who would you cast? AK: Oh my goodness! Well, I’ve had a crush on Julian Casablancas from The Strokes since I was fifteen and they do that all the time, put musicians in movies, so I would cast him. JJ: You started on Broadway in High Society - would you ever return to the stage, and what are your favorite musicals? AK: My favorite Broadway musical is a show called Parade, which is really dark and there’s not even really a role for me in it, but I love, love, love that show! | Tiger Woods Releases Apology Letter Posted: 02 Dec 2009 09:05 AM PST  Tiger Woods just issued a statement on his official website. Check out the full apology letter from the 33-year-old professional golfer: “I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone. “Although I am a well-known person and have made my career as a professional athlete, I have been dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means. For the last week, my family and I have been hounded to expose intimate details of our personal lives. The stories in particular that physical violence played any role in the car accident were utterly false and malicious. [My wife] Elin has always done more to support our family and shown more grace than anyone could possibly expect. “But no matter how intense curiosity about public figures can be, there is an important and deep principle at stake which is the right to some simple, human measure of privacy. I realize there are some who don’t share my view on that. But for me, the virtue of privacy is one that must be protected in matters that are intimate and within one’s own family. Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn’t have to mean public confessions. “Whatever regrets I have about letting my family down have been shared with and felt by us alone. I have given this a lot of reflection and thought and I believe that there is a point at which I must stick to that principle even though it’s difficult. “I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves. Here’s what the 30-year-old actress opened up about: On pregnancy, engagement and break up rumors: “I’m not pregnant. I can’t go two months without being pregnant, engaged, or breaking up because I’m too needy, which is always the one they love. I’m not needy. You kind of have to laugh it off, but it can kind of screw up other things around it.” On why she doesn’t talk about her relationships : “I have a child, and there are people involved, and it’s unfair to talk about somebody else, especially when you’re not in that place yet to be discussing those things.
