| 'Desperate Housewives' Ending May 2012 Posted: 05 Aug 2011 02:10 PM PDT  Desperate Housewives is coming to an end. The upcoming eighth season will be the last for the long-running ABC show, according to multiple reports. An official announcement is expected this Sunday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. “Key castmembers are starting to be told, and we hear that Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria are shocked and saddened since the show was expected to continue until 2013 after series creator Marc Cherry said that he wanted the show to go for nine seasons,” TV Line reports.
