| Constantine Maroulis Explains Bar Brawl Posted: 14 Aug 2009 08:18 PM PDT  American Idol favorite Constantine Maroulis made headlines earlier this week for getting into a 'bar fight' with a fan over the news that Paula Abdul left the show. “It was just a drunk dude at a concert [who] just like jumped on my back,” the 22-year-old told Extra. “Not that I wouldn’t [defend her], cause I love Paula. I would hit the streets for her but that's not what happened.” Idol alum Michael Johns also was shocked at the Paula news: "What can I tell you, I was a bit flabbergasted. Definitely she’s the reason people tune in whether you love her or whether you just want to see if she’s going to be a train wreck, you know. I think something special from the show will be missing." |

The vid was taped at the Transit Museum in Brooklyn and made use of a vintage New York City subway car. The dance moves were choreographed by the spectacular Wade Robson. | Kate Gosselin & Jon Gosselin Reunite Posted: 14 Aug 2009 06:31 PM PDT  Kate Gosselin returns home to watch their eight kids on Friday (August 14). after spending the previous night at a Day’s Inn hotel. Last night Jon denied Kate access to their house during his scheduled time with the kids. “She tried to come home yesterday, and I wouldn’t let her in the gate, and I guess she called the police,” Jon tells Splash News. “The police came and said it was a civil matter. An officer pulled me aside and I said, ‘This has never happened before and I’m just trying to spend time with my kids and she’s [Kate] gonna have to leave.’” He continued, “It was a miscommunication. Kate said she was coming home, and I said, ‘Well, it’s my time to spend with the kids.’ I don’t come home when she’s with the kids, and vice versa — and that’s how it’s supposed to be.” You can watch the video of Jon explaining the situation at TMZ. Police were called in while Jon and Kate argued at the fence because she was locked out and denied access to the home. Soon after, Kate was spotted checking into a Days Inn hotel. The same day, Jon lit up his cancer stick and then took his daughters Cara and Maddy to Starbucks, Staples (to get some back to school supplies) and finally to the bank. | Michael Phelps Unscathed After Car Crash Posted: 14 Aug 2009 07:22 AM PDT  Olympic gold medal swimming champion Michael Phelps was involved in a traffic accident in Baltimore, Maryland, on Thursday night, but left unscathed, police said. The 24-year-old “human dolphin” was reportedly shaken up by the incident in Baltimore and taken to a local hospital as a precaution. Phelps‘ two passengers were also uninjured while the female driver of the second vehicle was transported to a local hospital. “At this we don’t know, we know that there was a collision. Two cars were driving, they collided at an intersection. We’re going to find out, you know, if alcohol was a factor, we’re going to look at red lights. We’re going to put all that together and like I said AIU (Accident Investigation Unit) is literally is talking to them as we speak,” a police spokesman said. |
