It was reported earlier this week that Katie will star in the upcoming thriller Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark and will shoot this summer in Melbourne. According to Variety, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark is based on a 1973 ABC telepic about a young girl who moves in with her father and his girlfriend and discovers they are sharing the house with devilish creatures. |

Aldo Raine heads a group of eight Jewish soldiers (two of whom are German-born) spreading terror among the enemy in Nazi-occupied France. Their tactics, given the filmmaker’s soft spot for sadism, aren’t exactly subtle. “Their mission is to psychologically beat the Germans by desecrating and butchering their bodies, taking their scalps, disemboweling them, and always leaving one soldier alive to tell the story,” director Quentin Tarantino says. |

Ali’s mom, Dina, recently talk to People about questions swirling around whether or not Ali was getting any schooling. She shared, “Ali is in a home-schooling program. She has never been pulled out of school. It’s the same home-schooling program that Lindsay was in since the tenth grade. It’s a wonderful program that many celebrities are enrolled in.” |
| Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon: LA Homecoming Posted: 09 May 2009 05:54 PM PDT  Mariah Carey and her husband, Nick Cannon arrive back home to Los Angeles at LAX Airport via British Airways on Friday (May 8). Mariah, 39, and Nick, 28, returned from celebrating their anniversary at the islands of Maldives in the Indian Ocean. Looks like Mariah loved the trip and is ready to get back to work as she tweeted “The whole anniversairy [sic] experience was a smash. After this I gotta get bc to my album ASAP!” Meanwhile, as soon as they got back, Nick wrote a lengthy angry post on his blog in response to a leaked Eminem song called “Bagpipes From Baghdad” where the rapper, aka Marshall Mathers, disses Nick and Mariah. In the post, Nick concludes “So Miss Marshall, I'm going to make you wish you never spoke my name and regret the ungodly things you said about my wife. This is going to be fun! It's however you want it! Just remember, you did this to yourself! Your legacy has now been tainted from this day forth! You will now be known as the rapper who lost to Corny-ass Nick Cannon!!!”
