| Kevin Alejandro Talks His True Blood Character Posted: 11 Jun 2010 11:20 PM PDT  Kevin Alejandro sat down with AfterElton to talk about his upcoming role in True Blood. The 33-year-old actor, who gets romantically involved with Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), shared why he decided to play a gay character. Kevin explained, “Because it’s different. It was part of the appeal because I’m going straight from family man with kids, playing a detective in gang territory on [TNT's] Southland. We thought it would be a really nice balance and challenge to go from that to Jesus [on True Blood].” The new season of True Blood kicks off this Sunday (June 13) @ 9PM ET/PT on HBO!
