| Matt Damon Visit Ethiopia — One By One Posted: 03 Jun 2009 08:20 PM PDT  ONEXONE Foundation Ambassador Matt Damon brings awareness to Africa's water crisis, visiting a hand-dug well just outside Mekele, Ethiopia on Tuesday (April 20). In his right hand, the 38-year-old actor holds a bottle of regular water, in his left is a bottle of dirty water local children in Mekele drink everyday. | Nicole Richie is Focused On Family Posted: 03 Jun 2009 07:20 PM PDT  Pregnant Nicole Richie takes her 16-month-old daughter Harlow to lunch at Sunset Plaza in West Hollywood on Tuesday (June 2). The 27-year-old socialite is reportedly expecting a boy with rocker boyfriend Joel Madden. Last week, talking to Larry King, Nicole shared that she’s not in a rush to marry Joel. “As far as feeling that need of commitment, we both really have that in each other,” said Nicole. “When I was a little girl I dreamed about getting married and that is definitely still a dream of mine one day. Right now, we’re really, really focused on our family, we’re focused on our foundation.”

You may remember the 50-year-old actor from his paper-pushing days as Oscar Martinez on The Office! The Proposal, out June 19th, stars Ryan Reynolds, Sandra Bullock and Betty White. I saw a screening of the movie last month and there are lots and lots of LOL moments. JJ approved! |

| Christina Ricci Calls Off Engagement Posted: 03 Jun 2009 03:24 PM PDT  After just three months, Christina Ricci and her comedian boyfriend Owen Benjamin called off their engagement before last week. “Owen had a birthday party this past Sunday, and everything seemed fine. Sometime after, they got into a fight and decided to reevaluate things. [Then] the engagement was off,” a source close to the couple tells People. “They really are still close. They talk almost every day. It was a very mature decision and they both felt good about it. They’re definitely still friends.” After all, they had only been dating for four months. But still sad! |
| Jennifer Lopez Talks About Her Back-Up Plan Posted: 03 Jun 2009 02:50 PM PDT  Jennifer Lopez opens up to ET about her new movie The Back-Up Plan after a three-year hiatus from the big screen. The 39-year-old mother of twins will play Zoe, a pet store owner who gets tired of waiting for Mr. Right and gets artificial insemination, only to meet Stan, (Alex O’Loughlin) a man with real possibilities, the same day. Here’s what Jennifer opened up about: On getting back on set: “The few days before I got really nervous I was like, what if I forgot how to act?!” On balancing work with motherhood: “I bring the babies to work with me. I love it. Honestly, one of the best days of my life was the first day back working on this film. I wanted to do this film really badly and bringing my babies with me that first morning, I was like, ‘Oh my God, they’re with me, I’m making a movie, they’re here!’ It’s great having kids on set. It’s the best.” On getting her body back into shape after giving birth to twins: “It did take a lot of work,” she admits. “I thought it was gonna drop off easily because I had been in shape my whole life, but it wasn’t. I gained about 50 pounds with my twins, and the first 30 dropped off like that, and I was like, ‘Ha, this is gonna be so easy.’ That last twenty pounds, that took a while.” |

| Melissa Joan Hart Apologizes To Farrah Fawcett Posted: 03 Jun 2009 01:50 PM PDT  Melissa Joan Hart has written an apology to cancer-stricken Farrah Fawcett after the NY Post overheard the 33-year-old actress saying that she hoped Farrah wouldn’t die so her bikini-clad cover would be published by People magazine. The Sabrina the Teenage Witch star writes, “It has come to my attention that something I said has been completely misconstrued in the press. I was merely explaining what I had read about how the cover of People magazine was chosen from an article last week I read in the Times. I truly hope that Farrah and her family know I wish them the best at this time in her life. And that I would never be so selfish to disrespect anyone, let alone someone I admire greatly.” Melissa continues, “Last week was an intense one for me in many regards. Not only for all the reasons that have been publicized for you like the magazine cover and the opening of our new shop. But mainly because my mother was admitted into the hospital and underwent an intense 8 hour surgery on a brain tumor. All of my 6 siblings and I gathered at my house and the hospital for the entire week to be strong for each other. She is out of the woods and on her way to recovery, luckily she is a good healer and has 7 children to lend a hand in times like these. Prayer is a big part of my life and it was very crucial last week for my mommy. I ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she fights her way to a full and wonderful recovery. I love you Mommy!!!” |
