David Beckham arrives at a Washington D.C. airport sans wife Vicky-B but accompanied by three bodyguards on Thursday (August 20).

The 34-year-old soccer legend was swarmed by fans and signed a few autographs on his way out of the airport.

Beckham’s L.A. Galaxy beat the Chicago Fire yesterday, 2-0. Unfortunately, David didn’t play in the game after getting a one-game suspension for a red card in his previous game on Saturday vs. Seattle.

A very pregnant Ellen Pompeo wears a fun striped top as she leaves her Hollywood home with husband Chris Ivery on Thursday (August 20).

EW’s Michael Ausiello just addressed rumors of a Mer-Der breakup on Grey’s Anatomy. He writes, “The Mer-Der relationship will be written a little lighter during the first half of the season as a result of Ellen Pompeo's real-life pregnancy and subsequent maternity leave. ‘I think we would be irresponsible writers if we didn't give a woman who's seven-months pregnant a little less time on her feet,’ maintains exec producer Krista Vernoff. ‘She's waddling around seven-months pregnant about to push a baby out of her body. We have a responsibility to alleviate her screen time a little bit.’ That said, Vernoff insists Mer-Der are at no risk of losing their title as Seattle Grace's reigning super couple. ‘It would be false to say that Mer and Der are no longer the focus of the series,’ she says. ‘Derek and Mer will always be a focus of the series.’”

On getting more plastic surgery: "The fun thing about surgery is that they always have new things and you can always try things. I'm not sure what's on that list right now, but I'm sure as I get older, I'll want to keep up with maintenance as most Hollywood does."

On performing on Miss Universe: "It's my first performance ever, so I've very excited. It's live. And it's the biggest televised event in the history of T.V. It's the biggest televised event in the history of TV. It's bigger than the Super Bowl, it's bigger than the World Cup, it's over a billion eyes. I'm performing my single 'Body Language' so I've definitely gotten in great shape for that.”

On The Hills: "This is going to be the best season ever. Kristin Cavallari and the drama she is bringing––the hurricane is going to be incredible. I think there's going to be a whole new audience. With Lauren [Conrad] on it, she didn't really put a lot of her personal life on the show. Kristin comes in full throttle and that's what people want to see, that's what the audience wants to connect to, every part of your life. God willing, I don't see the show going anywhere but up from here."

On Speidi: "You definitely see how our life has changed now that we're married. I want to have kids eventually or soon, and Spencer's not too into that, so we'll discuss all that and we adjust to our single friends and how they react to our marriage. It's more of Newlyweds between us. It's very interesting. I love my husband so much and I love that people feel like they're part of us and part of our relationship.”

Donald Faison: 50,000 Pairs in 50 Days!

Scrubs star Donald Faison called up JustJared.com while on the set of his top secret Funny or Die video. The 35-year-old actor talked about the latest cause near and dear to his heart — The 50,000 Shoes Challenge.

JJ: How did you get involved with The 50,000 Pairs in 50 Days Challenge?

DF: I had a lot of shoes and sneakers in my closet that I wanted to get rid of. My girlfriend [Cacee Cobb] and I were hanging out in my closet and works for a shoe charity called Soles4Souls, so she asked me if I could give them away.

CaCee told me 300 million kids in the world don’t have shoes, so I thought it would be a good idea to give those shoes away to the kids that can’t afford it. That’s how I got on board. She then took me down to the mission and I gave out shoes to homeless people down there. Since then, when you realize that you’re helping people out, it makes you want to do more. Since then, CaCee’s gotten Zach [Braff] involved, and a few others.

JJ: How many shoes have you donated yourself?

DF: I want to say 30 pairs, but I don’t think I have that many sneakers, so about 15 pairs.

JJ: When do you get back to filming Scrubs?

DF: The 31st! Very excited.

Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto shoots scenes for her new film, the Untitled Woody Allen Project, in West London on Thursday (August 20).

Nicole Kidman was cast in the lead role but dropped out. Lucy Punch later accepted the role. Antonio Banderas, Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins round out the cast.

Variety sources says Punch will play a high-priced call girl similar to Ashley Dupre, who was at the center of the scandal that brought down New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer.

The couple plan to wed this weekend in Provincetown, Mass. One source tells Page Six that Marc, 46, and Lorenzo, 30, want the nuptials to be a private affair but “there will be an after-party.”

Peep the new “Run This Town” music video from Rihanna, Kanye West and Jay-Z.

"The song is about evolution and the progress," Jay has said. "You start out as a new artist and you make your way into the game. You climb that mountain and you get to the top and you put your flag down. This is us putting our flag down. This is Roc Nation. Pledge your allegiance. The 35-year-old Hitch actress stars in a new movie Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans.

Eva plays a prostitute and love interest of a drug-addicted homicide detective, played by Nicolas Cage. In the film, the detective investigates the massacre of a family of African immigrants in New Orleans, post Hurricane Katrina.

The movie will be featured as part of the Special Presentations at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival being held in September.

Chris Brown films a cameo in Keri Hilson’s new “Slow Dance” music video in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (August 19).

The 20-year-old singer donned a Billionaire Boys Club hat and a necklace that says ‘OOPS’.

Chris is expected to be back in court for sentencing next week for assaulting Rihanna after a party in Los Angeles.

Recently a new CB track called ‘Changed Man’ leaked in what some people interpreted as an apology to Rihanna. However, Chris‘ reps told MTV that the track is an old tune.
