The Star Trek stud celebrated his 29th birthday dinner with a large group of friends at West Hollywood’s Boa Steakhouse on August 26. The group sat on the patio overlooking the Sunset Strip enjoying bottles of wine and some of Boa's staples such as the Wagu beef, Kansas City Filet Mignon and mac n' cheese. The meal was topped off with S’mores, presented to Chris as a special birthday dessert. |

| Posted: 28 Aug 2009 03:58 PM PDT  DJ AM, also known as Adam Goldstein, was found dead in his apartment in New York City at 5:20PM on Friday (August 28). According to TMZ, DJ AM hadn’t been seen for a number of days and was only found when a friend went to go check on him. DJ AM and Travis Barker both survived a plane crash last September 2008 in South Carolina where four other people in the plane died. RIP AM. |

Here’s part II of the 31-year-old former What I Like About You actor had to say: JJ: Which movies or television shows are you into? NZ: I’m a big comedy and action guy. I just recently saw Funny People and enjoyed the meshing of comedy and drama in a really really fantastically interwoven way that [director Judd] Apatow did. JJ: Favorite action flick? NZ: Definitely Tango & Cash, you cannot deny Kurt Russell. JJ: Which TV shows do you follow? NZ: Not too much. Outside of The Sopranos and Curbed Your Enthusiasm, not too much else. I’m curious to say how they play the Seinfeld reunion and pull it off or f— it up. Eastbound & Down (on HBO) also makes me excited. JJ: What music do you follow? NZ: I Pandora myself out! NZ: Probably Tenacious D “Fundraiser” was one of the best. It was Tenacious D, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Eddie Veder, Chris Roth, Will Farrell and Beck. JJ: Craziest piece of gossip you’ve read on a blog that you’d want to correct? NZ: I’ve actually haven’t been bombarded with too many things that are outrageous. Not to say that we won’t have this conversation later. The blogging hemisphere if very dangerous. We’ve created this crazy curtain, and have become semi hostile. I hope we eventually pull out of that. Everyone just got hostile really fast. Now you ask yourself if you want to really get into show business. It’s a weird time right now, and I think people feel the effects of all the bad that’s around. JJ: How was Channing Tatum’s wedding? What did you get for the couple? NZ: It was a beautiful event for two people very much in love. I still haven’t gotten them anything. But apparently you have one year to get them anything. [My gift is] very driven toward Channing, not Jenna. JJ: How did you meet Channing and Jenna? NZ: I met him a long time ago before he moved to LA. He was a roommate of a mutual friend. We all became friends via phone and we all ended up in LA. JJ: Whose career would you want to emulate? NZ: I would definitely take Kurt Russell’s. JJ: After promoting The Final Destination, where do you go from here professionally? NZ: Nothing is concrete, it’s show business. We could go outside, shake hands and have a three picture deal and have it not mean anything. JJ: Do you prefer to be in front of the camera, or behind the camera? NZ: I like being in front and behind. In high school, I directed and starred in most of our stuff. But we had one guy who was the class clown who would do just about anything. He’d tell people to throw me in a dumpster and we would would all agree. So we always had that guy who would take the fall for the joke. So that’s where I started getting creative behind the camera. After high school, I couldn’t find the right college to fit what I was trying to do, which was just act, write and direct. So I took the plunge and went to New York for a few days and then went to LA and stayed with a friend. ————– The Final Destination opens in theaters everywhere TODAY. On Wednesday, the 31-year-old singer tweeted, “Challenge: if Harvey Levin at TMZ can produce my mug shot, I will donate 25k to the charity of his choice.” However, TheSmokingGun.com beat TMZ to the punch, publishing the photo first at 3:03pm on Thursday. “The photo was snapped after the performer was collared by Georgia cops in May 2001 for speeding and driving without a license. To those keeping score, TSG was the first site to post Mayer’s mug shot, which we did today at 3:03 PM,” TSG posted on their website.
