The twosome painted their initials on each other! Other celebs in attendance and pictured below: Chuck star Zachary Levi, Eastwick actor Matt Dallas and Joel Moore, who played Katy’s date in her “Waking Up In Vegas” music video. After the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory extravaganza, Taylor tweeted, “@Katyperry knows how to throw a birthday party! I would even go as far as to say it was party-licious. Best EVER. | Olsenboye: Olsen Twins’ New Junior Fashion Line! Posted: 25 Oct 2009 06:44 PM PDT  Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are launching a new affordable and chic fashion line called Olsenboye, which will be sold exclusively at 600 JCPenney stores in February. The Olsen Twins already have two higher-priced fashion lines — The Row and Elizabeth and James — but they’re not exactly for the budget-minded. Tomorrow, an Olsenboye truck will “cruise around New York selling merchandise and giving out cupcakes, balloons and pins, and empty racks in 50 high-profile stores will be covered in Olsenboye shrouds. Beginning Nov. 6, Olsenboye will be available on jcp.com and in those 50 stores, including the Manhattan flagship, for a limited time.” What a great idea. Now customers have something to wear with their H&M Jimmy Choos! |

| ‘Footloose’ Loses Director Kenny Ortega Posted: 25 Oct 2009 04:14 PM PDT  Director Kenny Ortega has pulled out of the Paramount Pictures flick Footloose due to tone and budget. Variety reports Ortega wanted to make a $30 million picture with elaborately-staged musical numbers while the studio wanted an edgier $25 million drama with less emphasis on the musical numbers. Production is still expected to start in March with Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford and Dancing with the Stars alum Julianne Hough. Ortega, who choreographed Dirty Dancing and directed the High School Musical franchise, also directed the new Michael Jackson movie This is It, out this Friday (October 28). |

We spend the weekends outside L.A, in Ojai, where I have a farmhouse. We have chickens and we grow cucumbers and tomatoes. I love it. I’m SO happy!!!!” Katy tweeted the next morning. “I am just giggling at random… I think this is how it will be for a while…” Guests were required to wear white to the party and left with neon paint spattered all over them. Celebs in attendance included her boyfriend Russell Brand (pictured here), Taylor Swift and Julianne Hough. And of course there were Oompa Loompas!!! | ‘Paranormal Activity’ Scares Up Box Office To #1 Posted: 25 Oct 2009 11:14 AM PDT  Paranormal Activity reached #1 at the box office this weekend, raking in $22 million. Thanks to online fan buzz, the low-budget fright film beat out new flicks Saw VI ($14.8 million), Astro Boy ($7 million) and Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant ($6.3 million). Where the Wild Things Are dropped to the No. 3 spot with $14.4 million. With a reported $15,000 budget, it’s become quite the horror sensation. The Blair Witch Project didn’t even make it to the top! |

| Andrew Lloyd Webber Battles Prostate Cancer Posted: 25 Oct 2009 08:43 AM PDT  Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber is undergoing treatment for prostate cancer, his spokesperson confirms. “The condition is in its very early stages,” Webber’s rep says. “Andrew is now undergoing treatment and expects to be fully back at work before the end of the year.” Lloyd Webber, 61, composed many of the great musicals including Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Cats, The Phantom of The Opera and the Phantom sequel, Love Never Dies (to open in London’s West End in March and on Broadway in November). Looks like before lunch the 28-year-old Israeli American actress also picked up a few things at Maryam Nassir Zadeh. Natalie has been working hard lately. Since last spring, she worked on the indie film Hesher, a comedy called Your Highness, and a thriller titled Black Swan. Soon she’ll be headed to Santa Fe for Marvel’s Thor. Afterwards, Nat’s looking forward to some relaxation. “I will take a nap - for like, two months,” Natalie tells LA Times. “Right now, I’m working probably more than is good for me, but sometimes it’s good to exceed your boundaries and stretch yourself.”

At the BEP’s official after party, the 34-year-old Black Eyed Peas leading lady donned a pair of trendy thigh-high boots. Working with Avon to create a perfume to debut in August of next year, Fergie will developing the fragrance and help choose the name, packaging and ad campaign.
