| Posted: 27 Oct 2009 09:01 PM PDT  Fergie struts her stuff at the Avon Foundation for Women Gala in New York City on Tuesday (October 27). The 34-year-old Glamorous singer, who wore a gown by Valentino and Bulgari accessories, shared her experience making her own fragrance with JustJared.com: “I learned a lot, just collaborating with these women and about the different notes and which ones linger, which ones don’t. They actually made me candles ’cause I wasn’t sure ’til the very end, so they made me candles,” Fergie shared. “So in each room, I would put candles in my house, wait 20 minutes and then walk into the room and I would get the essence of it. [Avon] really went all-out for me.” Fergie also said that if hottie husband Josh Duhamel had his own scent, “he would smell like perfection!” As for what her mystery fragrance is called, she was excited but couldn’t say much! “I’m dying. I’ve been working on this for over a year and I’ve had to keep my big mouth shut, so I’m really excited. I wish I could tell you right now!” |

Posted: 27 Oct 2009 08:00 PM PDT  Glamour gods Katy Perry and Adam Lambert hit the red carpet at the premiere of This Is It in downtown L.A. on Tuesday (October 27). Katy, 25, who wore vintage Christian Lacroix couture, and Adam, 27, paid tribute to Michael Jackson by viewing the film, which documented the late entertainer’s work on a tour that was preceded by his death. Despite the somber nature of the film, celebs arriving seemed to be in high spirits and ready to celebrate Michael’s life and career. Kenny Ortega who choreographed and directed the concert, Ashley Tisdale, Neil Patrick Harris and Jackson family members were all in attendance. “On my way to the THIS IS IT premiere w my lovely date Miss Katy Perry!!,” Adam tweeted earlier today. “We are dressed!”

Candy author, who wore Herve Leger paired with YSL shoes, shared her Halloween plans and what’s up post-Hills with JustJared.com. On what she’s presenting at the event: “I’m the spokesperson for Mark and I’m a co-chair for Empowerment by Mark. So tonight I’m here to present a grant to a foundation that helps prevent and educate young women with partner violence.” On her Halloween costume: “I’m going to be a clown! I’m not going the sexy route, really - it’s almost like a jester clown. Tights that are black and white and a tutu and suspenders and funny makeup.” On her favorite shows: “I am obsessed with Glee. Oh my god. Also, I watch Discovery Channel! I love Dirty Jobs and Deadliest Catch - those are my reality shows!” On deciding on actors for L.A. Candy: “I’m trying to think one step at a time. "Nick is working on a solo act–it’s called Nick Jonas and The Administration. Shhh! He’s at the photo shoot for the album cover right now,” mom Denise Jonas told Parade. The name of the new band probably stems from Nick’s nickname, Mr. President. “I just act like the boss sometimes,” Nick has said, “A lot of people have families where it's like the younger kids get all the slack, but they really do treat me with respect, and I do the same for them, it's a good relationship.” Mama Jonas is also gushing about his future daughter-in-law Danielle Deleasa, who is set to marry her eldest son, 21-year-old Kevin Jonas. “Kevin and his fiancee Danielle have set their wedding date–but it’s completely private. | Natalie Portman Speaks Out on ‘Eating Animals’ Posted: 27 Oct 2009 01:20 PM PDT  Natalie Portman takes to the Huffington Post to write about how author Jonathan Safran Foer (Everything Is Illuminated) and his book Eating Animals changed her already strict vegetarian habits to go even more extreme. Now, the 28-year-old actress writes, she’s a vegan activist: “[T]his book reminded me that some things are just wrong. Perhaps others disagree with me that animals have personalities, but the highly documented torture of animals is unacceptable, and the human cost Foer describes in his book, of which I was previously unaware, is universally compelling.” Natalie, who has been voted the World’s Sexiest Vegetarian by PETA, refuses to wear leather or fur and is a huge animal rights advocate. The majority of the compensation, paid to Sophia, will be placed in trust for her secondary education and well-being.
