The 37-year-old singer/actress stopped by BBC Radio 2 and later arrived at The Borderline to perform with her band, The New Romantiques. Aside from touring with her band, Juliette recently landed a guest role on TNT’s new police series, Memphis Beat, which stars Jason Lee as a detective with a passion for blues music. “I was so excited,” Juliette shared with Zap2It. “I looked at the script and I was really blown away by the writing. | Andrew Garfield: The New 'Spider-man'! Posted: 01 Jul 2010 05:48 PM PDT  Andrew Garfield is slated to star as the next Spider-man, according to Variety. The 26-year-old actor is best known for starring in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and the upcoming film Social Network costarring Justin Timberlake. The new Spider-man movie, directed by Marc Webb, will be a reboot of the original film and will be in 3D. “Though his name may be new to many, those who know this young actor’s work understand his extraordinary talents,” Marc said of Andrew (via THR). “He has a rare combination of intelligence, wit, and humanity.” Production is expected to begin at the end of the year. The couple, married for 13 years, have two children together - Mason, 8, and Jude, 5. Camille is seeking primary custody of the boys and asking for spousal support, according to People. Kelsey acknowledged the split on his Twitter earlier today and asked for privacy during the difficult time. Camille, 41, is a former Playboy model who’s rumored to be appearing on next season’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kelsey, 55, is starring in Broadway’s La Cage Aux Folles. |

According to Variety, Paul Reubens, who plays Pee-wee, is writing the new script with Inglourious Basterds writer Paul Rust. The new film will be produced under Judd’s production company Apatow Prods. Previously, Judd helped produce comedy films such as Knocked Up, Superbad, and Get Him To the Greek. The pair reportedly teamed up after Judd saw Paul’s live The Pee-wee Herman Show earlier in the year. “Let’s face it, the world needs more Pee-wee Herman,” Judd told Variety. “I am so excited to be working with Paul Reubens — who is an extraordinary and ground-breaking actor and writer. It’s so great to watch him return with such relevance.” |
