| Ziyi Zhang Kicks Off Special Olympics Unity Cup Posted: 07 Jul 2010 06:20 PM PDT  Ziyi Zhang comes out to show her support for The 2010 Special Olympics Unity Cup on Saturday (July 3) in Cape Town, South Africa. The 31-year-old Chinese actress mingled with other players, including sixteen Special Olympics athletes from all over the world and NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo at the Crystal Towers Hotel. Ziyi is a Global Ambassador for the Special Olympics and was there to participate in the friendly Coca-Cola sponsored Special Olympics Unity Cup Match. The match, held at the Cape Town Stadium, was held to promote more acceptance of people with intellectual disabilities.

The black comedy is a blistering, graphic satire on violence set in 1993 on the rocky island of Inishmore. Padraic (Pine), a hard-boiled terrorist, has been away in Northern Ireland with his busy schedule of torture and assorted nationalist mayhem, but he is lured home to Inishmore by the news that his beloved cat, Wee Thomas, is doing poorly. Here’s what the 35-year-old actress shared: On if her children are the reason she and Brad Pitt stay together: “The children certainly tie us together, but a relationship won’t hold if it’s only about the kids. You also must be really interested in each other and have a really, really wonderful, exciting time together. We do. Brad and I love being together. We enjoy it. We need it, and we always find that special time. We stay connected. We talk about it. It’s very important. If Brad and I are strong and happy, then our kids have happy parents, and that’s the best thing we can give them…. Brad knows me completely, exactly as I am, every part of me. He loves me. The kids love me. They know all my flaws and all my oddities. And they accept them. And so I can feel complete.” On living for love: “I feel sad for someone who has never known love. Love elevates.
