Spain won the World Cup for the first time, 1-0, after extra time thanks to a goal by midfielder Andres Iniesta (pictured here). He struck with only four minutes remaining! Posted: 11 Jul 2010 11:29 AM PDT  Despicable Me opened to a huge $60.1 million over the weekend, easily surpassing the second weekend of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which trailed at $33.4 million. Voice talent in the animated 3-D flick included The Office’s Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Julie Andrews, Will Arnett, Kristen Wiig and iCarly’s Miranda Cosgrove. Predators, a reboot of the '80s sci-fi horror film, scared up $25.3 million. Better than expected! It was directed by Nimrod Antal, produced by fan-boy fave Robert Rodriguez (Sin City) and stars Adrien Brody. |
