The 25-year-old Transformers 2 actress will be joining Josh Hutcherson, Connor Cruise, and Chris Hemsworth for the remake of the 1984 film Red Dawn. Isabel will be playing a cheerlader in the film about a group of teenagers who defend their town from a Chinese and Russian invasion. The new film is expected to hit theaters on September 24 of this year.

Lies in Plain Sight tells the story of Ava and her blind cousin Sofia (Martha Higareda, pictured below), who were inseparable as children, with Ava the loyal companion who helped Sofia through her tough adolescent years. When Ava suddenly commits suicide, Sofia rushes home to her father Hector (Benito Martinez) and Ava’s parents Marisol (Rosie Perez) and Rafael (Yul Vasquez) to find answers. But as she delves into Ava’s life, questioning her past boyfriends Ethan (Murray) and Christian (Christoph Sanders), the more Sofia realizes that their childhood was actually filled with dark disturbing secrets. The 29-year-old socialite was held by police after she and her entourage were confronted at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium while attending a World Cup game, according to TMZ, who reports that a source close to the situation says Paris was not the one in possession of drugs. Paris has been updating her Twiter with photos of her trip so far, including photos with her and thirteen pieces of Louis Vuitton luggage as well as pics with fans. “Had so much fun at the game today. What a match!” she wrote earlier today. “I love South Africa!” UPDATE: A rep for Paris told TMZ that Paris was detained and questioned by police but was released and police “apologized for misidentifying her”. |
